How much are tickets?
Ticket prices vary based on the package, seating, and night of the rodeo. Please refer to the Ticket page for more specific information.

 

How do I purchase tickets?
Tickets to select the Days of ‘47 Rodeo are available at the Maverik Center Box Office and at all Ticketmaster outlets, Ticketmaster charge-by-phone (800) 745-3000, or online at www.ticketmaster.com. See our Ticket page for more information.

 

Do you have any special family packages or group sales on tickets?
Contacct our group sale office for ticket sales for 10 or more, on our Ticket page.

 

Where is the best place to sit at the Rodeo?
We tossed this question around a bit, and came to the conclusion it’s on your rear end! The best seat in the arena depends on what you are most interested in watching. For the bucking events you may like one end of the arena, for the roping events the other. Or maybe you want to see it all, then the mid arena seats are for you. Please refer to our Ticket page to better make your selection.

 

Is there food available at the Rodeo?
Food and beverage vendors are located in the Maverik Center, and will be accessible during the entire Rodeo.

 

Where will the Rodeo be held?
The Maverik Center is located at 3200 S. Decker Lake Drive in West Valley City, UT, 84119. Decker Lake Drive is approximately 2200 West.

Where do I park when I come to the Rodeo?
The Maverik Center has two separate parking lots for your parking convenience at a fee of $7/vehicle for the Days of ‘47 Rodeo.

Parking lots A and B are located on the grounds of the Maverik Center while Parking Lot C is located adjacent to the Maverik Center at the corner of 3100 South and Decker Lake Drive. (See parking chart)

The Maverik Center does not guarantee parking. Parking is available on a first come, first served basis.

 

Can I bring my camera to photograph the Rodeo?
The Days of '47 Rodeo allows use of cameras at the event. We ask that the use flash photography not be used in order to avoid conflict with the stock and events. Under no circumstances may photography interfere with aisles or other guests' enjoyment of the event.

 

Is the Rodeo a family friendly event?
Our focus is on involving families in the Days of ‘47 Rodeo. Since rodeo’s were first held they have been enjoyed by fans of all ages. Our attendees range from buckaroos in diapers to cowboys who have seen a lot of long hard trail. Everyone will enjoy the excitement of the Days of ‘47 Rodeo.

 

What events will be occurring with the Rodeo?
Before each rodeo night there will be outside entertainment. Please see our Promo page for information on each of these nights.

There will also be a Western Heritage Art Show held in the Maverik Center during the Rodeo, open with free admission to all Rodeo attendees.

 

Will there be any World Champions performing?
The Rodeo draws some of the greatest rodeo athletes in the country. Each and every year at the Days of ‘47 Rodeo, World Champions match their grit and determination against some of the toughest rodeo stock in the nation.

 

Will the Days of ‘47 Royalty be there?
The Days of ‘47 Royalty will attend the rodeo each night, and be featured in part of the program. They will also be available nightly to sign autographs.

 

Is the Rodeo different each night?
Any night you come you will see some of the most incredible rodeo performances in the nation – and you never know what the stock and athletes will do. The same rodeo events are held each night, so you will never miss any of the bucking or roping events, but different athletes will be performing nightly.

Where can I get a Days of ‘47 Rodeo T-shirt?
T-shirts will be available throughout June and July at select events. Watch for information via email on the events we will be attending. T-shirts will also be available at the actual Rodeo Event. Pink T-shirts are available for sale for the “Tough Enough to Wear Pink” cancer awareness night. You can view the designs on our t-shirt page.

 

Will there be programs for sale at the Rodeo? What information will they include?
The Days of ‘47 Rodeo program will be packed with information devoted to the history of the rodeo and the Days of ‘47 celebration. There are bios on many of the athletes that will be competing each night, as well as information and coupons from some of our sponsors. The day sheet outlining the daily rodeo events will also be included in the program. This year many of the give-aways that will be occurring each night will be awarded to those that have the correct stamp or signature in your program. Give away prizes include items such as t-shirts, western art prints, and coupons and vouchers to some of our sponsors.
