Montana Silversmith Buckles
We are giving away two National Final Rodeo Montana Silversmith Buckles
each night of the rodeo. That is a total of 12 buckles given to lucky attendees to help raise money for the Huntsman Cancer Research Foundation..
Each night before the rodeo starts,
through a purchase of a bandana or a donation
to Huntsman Cancer Foundation, an entry into the drawing is given.*
Midway through the rodeo the winners will be announced and
the buckles will be given at the end of the rodeo.
We are the only rodeo in the state of Utah giving you a chance to win an official NFR buckle.
More information will be made available about the buckles as we get closer to the rodeo.
* Purchase is not required to have an entry in the drawing.

- Women 20-39 should have a clinical breast exam, preferably at least every three years?
- Breast Cancer is the second leading cause of cancer deaths in women, after lung cancer
- 2.4 million women living in the US have been diagnosed with and treated for breast cancer
- An estimated 182,480 new cases of invasive breast cancer are expected to occur among women in the United States during 2008
- An estimated 40,480 women will die from breast cancer. It is estimated that 1,990 men will be diagnosed and 450 men will die of breast cancer during 2008
- All women 40 and over should get an annual mammogram and an annual clinical breast exam
- Women at increased risk (e.g., family history, genetic tendency, past breast cancer) should talk to their doctors about the benefits and limitations of starting mammography screening earlier, having additional test such as breast ultrasound and MRI or having more frequent exams
Why Research?
Cancer is a huge challenge. In the USA, one person dies from cancer each minute. One out of every two men and one out of every three women will have cancer. Huntsman Cancer Institute is committed to winning the war on cancer. Through research, we’re moving toward a more complete understanding about the genetic and molecular basis of the disease. We are not the same, nor are our tumors the same. Huntsman Cancer Institute’s goal is to use genetic information to personalize cancer risk assessment, treatment planning, and actual care.
Huntsman Cancer Institute HAS IDENTIFIED CANCER-CAUSING GENES FOR:
- Colon Cancer
- Breast Cancer
- Ovarian Cancer
- Melanoma
- Neurofibromatosis
- Thyroid, Parathyroid cancers
